Hadith 36582
٣٦٥٨٢ - حدثنا شبابة بن سوار حدثنا سليمان بن المغيرة عن حميد بن هلال عن عبد اللَّه بن مغفل قال: مر عبد اللَّه بن سلام في أرض إلى جنبه، فقال: إن (هذه) (١) رأسَ أربعين سنة تكون عندها صلح، قال: (فكانت) (٢) جماعة معاوية عند رأس الأربعين (٣).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Salam passed by a piece of land and said: This is the beginning of the year 40 AH, in which a peace treaty was made. The narrator states that the group of Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) was at the beginning of the year 40 AH.
