Hadith 36207
٣٦٢٠٧ - حدثنا حسين بن علي عن سفيان قال: سمعت الهذلي (يسأل) (١) جعفر (٢) كم كان لعلي حين هلك؟ قال: قتل وهو ابن ثمان وخمسين، ومات لها الحسن وقتل (لها) (٣) الحسين (٤).
Hazrat Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the age of Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) at the time of his martyrdom. He replied: He was martyred at the age of fifty-eight years; Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away at the same age, and Hazrat Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred at the same age.
