Hadith 36166
٣٦١٦٦ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا هشام عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ أنزل عليه وهو ابن أربعين سنة، فأقام بمكة ثلاث عشر سنة، وأقام بالمدينة عشر سنين، فتوفي وهو ابن ثلاث وستين (١).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that revelation descended upon the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the age of forty years; he (peace be upon him) stayed in Makkah Mukarramah for thirteen years, and stayed in Madinah for ten years, and he passed away at the age of sixty-three years.
