It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ishaq (may Allah be pleased with him) that Hazrat Abdullah bin Utbah (may Allah be pleased with him) and a person from Hamdan had a disagreement on a matter. The Hamdani said that Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was older than the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "No, rather the Messenger of Allah was older than Abu Bakr. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away at the age of sixty-three, and Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away at the age of sixty-three." Hazrat Amir bin Sa’d al-Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I will decide between you. Hazrat Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that he was with Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him). Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away at the age of sixty-three, Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away at the age of sixty-three, and Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred at the age of sixty-three, and my age today is fifty-seven years."
