Hadith 36159
٣٦١٥٩ - حدثنا زيد بن (الحباب) (١) عن ابن لهيعة قال: حدثني يزيد بن عمرو المعافري قال: سمعت أبا ثور الفهمي يقول: قدم علينا عبد الرحمن بن عديس البلوي وكان ممن بايع تحت الشجرة فصعد المنبر فحمد اللَّه، وأثنى عليه ثم ذكر عثمان، قال أبو ثور: قد جئنا على عثمان وهو محصور فقال: إني لرابع الإسلام (٢).
Hazrat Abu Thawr Al-Fahmi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Abdur Rahman ibn 'Udays (may Allah be pleased with him), who participated in the Pledge of Ridwan, came to us, sat on the pulpit, and praised Allah. Then he mentioned Hazrat Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him): Hazrat Abu Thawr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that then we went to Hazrat Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), and at that time he was besieged. Hazrat Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I am the fourth person to embrace Islam."
