Hadith 36132
٣٦١٣٢ - حدثنا هشيم عن أبي بشر عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس قال: جمعت المحكم على عهد رسول اللَّه ﷺ، قال: قلت له: وما المحكم؟ قال: المفصل (١).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that I compiled the details during the era of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The narrator says that I asked, "What is meant by 'al-muhkam'?" He replied, "The details." And at the time of the demise of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, I was ten years old.
