Hadith 36128
٣٦١٢٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن خالد عن عمار مولى بني هشام عن ابن عباس أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ بعث وهو ابن أربعين سنة، وأقام بمكة خمس عشرة سنة، وبالمدينة عشرًا فقبض وهو ابن خمس وستين (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was commissioned as a prophet at the age of forty. He stayed in Makkah for fifteen years and in Madinah Munawwarah for ten years, and at the time of his passing, his age was sixty-five years.
