Hadith 36069
٣٦٠٦٩ - حدثنا بن إدريس عن مسعر عن أبي حصين عن الشعبي عن مالك بن صحار قال: غزونا بلنجر فلم يفتحوها، (فقالوا) (١): نرجع قابلا نفتحها فقال حذيفة: لا تفتح هذه ولا مدينة الكفر ولا الديلم إلا على رجل من أهل بيت محمد ﷺ (٢).
Hazrat Malik bin Sahar narrates that we participated in the jihad of Balanjar. But we did not achieve victory. People said that we will come next year to conquer it. Upon this, Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) said that this region, the city of disbelief, and Daylam will be conquered at the hands of a man from the family of Muhammad ﷺ.
