٣٦٠٠٨ - حدثنا ابن أبي زائدة عن مجالد عن الشعبي قال: كتب عمر إلى سعد يوم القادسية: إني قد بعثت إليك أهل الحجاز وأهل اليمن، فمن أدرك منهم القتال قبل أن (يتفقؤا) (١) فأسهم لهم (٢).
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that on the occasion of the Battle of Qadisiyyah, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote a letter to Hazrat Sa'd in which he wrote that I am sending to you people from Hijaz and also from Yemen; among them, whoever is capable of fighting, give him a share from the spoils of war.
