ما (يقرأ) في صلاة الفجرFrom where should recitation begin in Fajr prayer?
Hadith 3599
٣٥٩٩ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن عطاء بن السائب عن أبي عبد الرحمن: أنه قال: ما رأيت رجلًا أقرأ من علي؛ (إنه) (١) قرأ بنا في صلاة الفجر بـ: الأنبياء. قال: ⦗٢٨٢⦘ (حتى) (٢) إذا بلغ رأس السبعين ترك منها آية فقرأ (ما) (٣) بعدها، ثم ذكر فرجع (فقرأها) (٤)، ثم رجع إلى مكانه الذي كان قرأ لما (يتتعتع) (٥) (٦).
Hazrat Abu Abdur Rahman says that I have not seen anyone more knowledgeable of the Qur'an than Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). He led us in the Fajr prayer and recited Surah Al-Anbiya in it. When he completed seventy verses, he skipped one verse and recited the verse after it. Then when he remembered, he went back and recited it. Then he returned to the place from where he was reciting, when he felt hesitation.
