٣٥٩٧٤ - حدثنا ابن علية عن أيوب عن ثمامة بن عبد اللَّه عن أنس قال: ⦗٦⦘ أتيت على ثابت بن قيس يوم اليمامة وهو (يتحنط) (١)، فقلت: أي عم ألا ترى ما لقي الناس فقال: الآن يا ابن أخي (٢).
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that on the day of the Battle of Yamama, I met Hazrat Thabit bin Qais while he was in a state of intense anger. I said to him, "O uncle! Do you not see how fierce the fighting is among the people today?" He replied, "Yes, nephew, I have now seen it."
