Hadith 35934
٣٥٩٣٤ - حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن الأجلح عن الشعبي قال: أتي رسول اللَّه ﷺ، فقيل له: قد قدم جعفر فقال: "ما أدري بأيهما أفرح؟ بقدوم جعفر أو بفتح خيبر"، ثم تلقاه النبي ﷺ فالتزمه وقبل ما بين عينيه (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Sha’bi (may Allah have mercy on him) that someone came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him that Hazrat Ja’far (may Allah be pleased with him) had arrived. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I do not know which thing has made me happier: the arrival of Hazrat Ja’far or the conquest of Khaybar?! Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ welcomed him, embraced him, and kissed him between his two eyes.
