ما يقول الرجل إذا خرج مسافرا؟Supplications to Recite When Setting Out on a Journey
Hadith 35872
٣٥٨٧٢ - حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن سماك عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس قال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ إذا أراد أن يخرج في سفر قال: "اللهم أنت الصاحب في السفر والخليفة ⦗٥١٦⦘ في الأهل، اللهم إني أعوذ بك من (الضِّبْنَة) (١) في السفر، والكآبة في المنقلب، اللهم اقبض لنا الأرض، وهون علينا السفر" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out on a journey, he would recite this supplication: "O Allah! You are the companion in travel and the guardian of the family. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the hardship of travel and from unpleasant scenes upon return. O Allah! Make the earth compact for us and make the journey easy for us."
