Hadith 35846
٣٥٨٤٦ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن الحجاج عن الحكم عن مقسم عن ابن عباس أن النبي ﷺ كان يعتق من أتاه من (العبيد) (١) قبل مواليهم إذا أسلموا، وقد أعتق يوم الطائف رجلين (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would set free any slave who became Muslim and arrived from the land of war before his master. On the day of Ta’if, he set free two such slaves.
