Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that we were on a journey with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). We camped at a place and the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me, "Come, let us race." We raced and I outran him. Then, on another journey with him, we camped at a place and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to me, "Come, let us race." Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) outran me, and then, striking his hand between my shoulders, said, "This is in return for that race."
