ما (يقرأ) في صلاة الفجرFrom where should recitation begin in Fajr prayer?
Hadith 3583
٣٥٨٣ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن أنس: أن أبا بكر قرأ في صلاة الصبح ⦗٢٧٩⦘ بالبقرة، فقال (له) (١) عمر حين فرغ: كربت الشمس أن تطلع، قال: لو طلعت لم تجدنا غافلين (٢).
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Abu Bakr recited Surah Al-Baqarah in the Fajr prayer. When the prayer was finished, Hazrat Umar said to him, "You almost caused the sun to rise!" Hazrat Abu Bakr replied, "If the sun had risen, it would not have found us among the heedless."
