Hadith 35777
٣٥٧٧٧ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا سفيان عن علقمة بن مرثد عن سليمان بن بريدة عن أبيه قال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ إذا بعث أميرًا على سرية أو جيش قال: "لا تغلوا" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed someone as the commander of a detachment or an army, he would instruct him: Do not commit treachery.
