٣٥٧١٤ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا هشام الدستوائي عن قتادة (عن الحسن) (١) عن الأحنف بن قيس أن عمر اشترط ضيافة يوم وليلة، وأن يصلحوا القناطر، وإن قتل رجل من المسلمين بأرضهم فعليهم ديته (٢).
Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) stipulated the condition of hospitality for one day and one night, even if they make peace on buildings, and if any Muslim is killed on their land, then blood money is due upon them.
