(باب من أسلم على شيء فهو له)If Someone Accepts Islam on a Condition, Is He Given What He Requested?
Hadith 35681
٣٥٦٨١ - حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن غالب العبدي قال: حدثني رجل من بني نمير عن أبيه عن جده أو جد أبيه أنه أتى النبي ﷺ فقال: يا رسول اللَّه إن ⦗٤٦٦⦘ قومي أسلموا على أن جعلت لهم كذا وكذا، قال: "إن شئت رجعت فيه وتركه أفضل" (١).
Hazrat Ghalib Al-Abdi narrates from a man of Banu Namir that he came to the service of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! My people have believed on the condition that I will give them such and such." The Prophet ﷺ said, "If you wish, you may withdraw from it, and leaving it is better."
