Hadith 35659
٣٥٦٥٩ - (حدثنا) (١) عبد اللَّه بن المبارك عن ابن جريج عن عطاء قال: وجب الانصات والذكر عند (الزحف) (٢) قال: ثم تلا: ﴿فَاثْبُتُوا وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا﴾ [الأنفال: ٤٥]، قال: قلت: ويجهر بالذكر؟ قال: (قال) (٣): نعم.
Hazrat Ata says that during battle, silence is necessary and the remembrance of Allah is necessary. Then he recited the verse of the Holy Qur'an { فَاثْبُتُوا وَاذْکُرُوا اللَّہَ کَثِیرًا }. Hazrat Ibn Jurayj says that I asked, "Should the remembrance be done in a loud voice?" He replied, "Yes."
