٣٥٦٥٧ - حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن الإفريقي عن عبد اللَّه بن يزيد عن عبد اللَّه ابن عمرو قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا تمنوا لقاء العدو وسلوا اللَّه العافية، فإن لقيتموهم فاثبتوا واذكروا اللَّه، فإن أجلبوا أو (صيحوا) (١) فعليكم بالصمت" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not wish to meet the enemy, ask Allah for well-being, and if you do encounter the enemy, remain steadfast and remember Allah, and if there is a crowd or they scream, then silence is incumbent upon you.
