Hadith 35505
٣٥٥٠٥ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم (بن) (١) سليمان عن عبد الملك بن سليمان عن عطاء بن السائب عن الشعبي عن عبدة الآية: ﴿يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الأَنْفَالِ﴾ قال: (من) (٢) شذ من المشركين من العدو إلى المسلمين من عبد أو متاع أو دابة فهي الأنفال التي يقضي فيها ما أحب.
Hazrat Abda, regarding the verse of the Holy Qur'an { یَسْأَلُونَک عَنِ الأَنْفَالِ }, states that if any slaves, goods, or mounts are left behind in the battlefield by the enemies of the Muslims from among the polytheists as they flee, then these are included in the spoils (anfal). The leader may decide about them as he wishes.
