Hadith 35460
٣٥٤٦٠ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن هشام عن الحسن قال: إذا (رحلوا) (١) بإذن الإمام أخذ الخمس، وكان لهم ما بقي، وإذا رحلوا بغير إذن الإمام (فهم) (٢) أسوة الجيش.
Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) says that if an army marches with the permission of the Imam, then one-fifth (khums) will be taken out from their spoils, and the rest will be given to them. And if they march without the Imam's permission, then they are like a (regular) army.
