Hadith 35448
٣٥٤٤٨ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن قيس بن كركم عن ابن عباس: ﴿لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ﴾، قال: المحروم: (المحارف) (١) الذي ليس له في الإسلام سهم (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), regarding the interpretation of the word "mahrum" in the verse { لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ } of the Quran, states that "mahrum" is the person for whom no share of the spoils of war has been allocated in Islam.
