Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), both state that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been commanded to fight the people until they recite "La ilaha illallah" (There is no god but Allah). So when they recite this statement, they have protected their wealth and their lives, and their reckoning is with Allah.
