Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Nu’man bin Muqarrin (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that I was present with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in battle. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not engage in fighting during the early part of the day. He delayed the fighting until the sun had declined, the wind had started to blow, and help had descended.
