متى يؤمر الصبي بالصلاة؟When should a child be instructed to pray?
Hadith 3518
٣٥١٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا زيد بن (الحباب) (١) قال: حدثني عبد الملك ابن الربيع بن سبرة بن معبد الجهني قال: حدثني أبي عن جدي قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إذا بلغ الغلام سبع سنين (فامروه) (٢) بالصلاة، فإذا بلغ عَشْرًا فاضربوه عليها" (٣).
Hazrat Sabrah bin Ma’bad Juhani narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a child reaches the age of seven, instruct him to perform prayer; and if he reaches the age of ten and still neglects prayer, then discipline him.
