Hadith 34896
٣٤٨٩٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن إسماعيل عن الشعبي أن رجلًا وجد في خربة ألفا وخمسمائة درهم، فأتى عليًا فقال: أد خمسها ولك ثلاثة أخماسها، (وسنطيِّب) (١) لك الخمس الباقي (٢).
Imam Sha’bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a man found fifteen hundred dirhams in a deserted place. He came to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). So he (may Allah be pleased with him) said: You should pay its khums. And one third of its khums will be for you. And the rest of the khums, soon we will purify for you.
