Hadith 34895
٣٤٨٩٥ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن مجالد عن الشعبي أن غلامًا من العرب وجد ستوقة (١) فيها عشرة آلاف درهم، فأتى بها عمرَ فأخذ منها خمسها ألفين، وأعطاه ثمانية آلاف (٢).
Imam Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that a slave from among the Arabs found a leather bag in which there were ten thousand dirhams. So he brought it to Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). He (may Allah be pleased with him) took a fifth from it, that is, two thousand, and gave him eight thousand.
