Hadith 34888
٣٤٨٨٨ - حدثنا هشيم عن حصين عمن شهد القادسية قال: بينا رجل يغتسل إذا فحص له الماء التراب عن لبنة من ذهب، فأتى سعد بن أبي وقاص فأخبره فقال: اجعلها في غنائم المسلمين (١).
Hazrat Husain (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that a person who participated in the Battle of Qadisiyyah stated that there was a man among us who, after performing ghusl (ritual bath), suddenly found a gold brick when water fell on the ground. He went to Hazrat Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) and informed him about it. He (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Add it to the spoils of war of the Muslims.
