Hadith 34798
٣٤٧٩٨ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا إسرائيل عن أبي إسحاق عن حارثة بن مضرب عن علي قال: لقد رأيتنا يوم بدر ونحن نلوذ برسول اللَّه ﷺ وهو أقربنا إلى العدو وكان من أشد الناس يومئذ بأسًا (١).
Hazrat Haritha bin Mudarrib (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: On the day of the Battle of Badr, I saw myself that we were seeking protection through the person of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was the closest to the enemy among all of us. And on that day, he (peace and blessings be upon him) was the fiercest warrior of all.
