Hadith 34746
٣٤٧٤٦ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا أبو مكين قال: سمعت زيد بن أسلم يقول: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تُؤَدُّوا الْأَمَانَاتِ إِلَى أَهْلِهَا وَإِذَا حَكَمْتُمْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ أَنْ تَحْكُمُوا بِالْعَدْلِ﴾ [النساء: ٥٨]، قال: (أنزلت) (١) في ولاة الأمر.
Hazrat Abu Makin (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Hazrat Zaid bin Aslam (may Allah have mercy on him) explained the context of the revelation of this verse as follows: Verse: {إنَّ اللَّہَ یَأْمُرُکُمْ أَنْ تُؤَدُّوا الأَمَانَاتِ إلَی أَہْلِہَا وَإِذَا حَکَمْتُمْ بَیْنَ النَّاسِ أَنْ تَحْکُمُوا بِالْعَدْلِ } He (may Allah have mercy on him) said: This verse was revealed regarding the affairs of the wealthy.
