Hadith 34720
٣٤٧٢٠ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا يونس بن أبي إسحاق عن العيزار بن حريث العبدي عن أم الحصين الأحمسية قالت: سمعت النبي ﷺ وهو يخطب (بعرفة) (١) (وعليه) (٢) برد متلفعًا به، وهو يقول: "إِنْ أمر عليكم عبد حبشي مجدع فاسمعوا له وأطيعوا ما قادكم بكتاب اللَّه" (٣).
Hazrat Umm Hissain Ahmiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon in the plain of Arafat while he had wrapped himself in a sheet, and said: Even if a slave of Abyssinian origin with a cut nose is appointed as your leader, listen to him and obey him as long as he leads you according to the guidance of the Noble Qur'an.
