Hadith 34719
٣٤٧١٩ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا شعبة عن يحيى بن الحصين عن جدته أم الحصين قالت: سمعت النبي ﷺ وهو يخطب بعرفة وهو يقول: "إن أُمِّر عليكم عبد حبشي فاسمعوا له وأطيعوا ما قادكم بكتاب اللَّه" (١).
Hazrat Umm Hissain (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon in the plain of Arafat and said: If even an Abyssinian slave is appointed as your leader, then listen to him and obey him as long as he leads you according to the Book of Allah the Exalted.
