ما جاء في أهل بدر من الفضلNarrations Regarding the Virtue of the People of Badr
Hadith 34524
٣٤٥٢٤ - حدثنا شبابة بن سوار عن ليث بن سعد عن أبي الزبير (عن جابر) (١) أن عبد حاطب بن أبي بلتعة أتى رسول اللَّه ﷺ ليشتكي حاطبا فقال: يا رسول اللَّه ليدخلنّ حاطبٌ النارَ، فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "كذبت، لا يدخلها إنه قد شهد بدرًا والحديبية" (٢).
Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the slave of Hazrat Hatib bin Abi Balta’ah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to complain about Hazrat Hatib (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Hatib will surely enter Hell. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You have lied, he will not enter Hell, because he was present at the Battle of Badr and at Hudaybiyyah.
