Hadith 34403
٣٤٤٠٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن الحارث عن علي قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لو كنت مستخلفًا (عن) (١) غير مشورة لاستخلفت ابن أم عبد" (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I were to appoint anyone as a caliph without consultation, I would appoint Ibn Umm Abd (may Allah be pleased with him).
