Hadith 33872
٣٣٨٧٢ - حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعيل عن أنيس بن أبي يحيى عن إسحاق بن سالم عن أبي هريرة قال: خرج علي رسول اللَّه ﷺ يومًا فقال: "ادع لي أصحابك"، -يعني أصحاب الصفة-، فجعلت أتبعهم رجلًا رجلًا أوقظهم حتى جمعتهم، فجئنا باب رسول اللَّه ﷺ فاستأذنا، فأذن لنا، قال أبو هريرة: ووضعت بين أيدينا صحفة فيها صنيع قدر (مدٍ من) (١) شعير، قال: فوضع رسول اللَّه ﷺ يده ⦗٤٤٣⦘ عليها، فقال: "خذوا بسم اللَّه"، فأكلنا ما شئنا، ثم رفعنا أيدينا، فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ حين وضعت الصحفة: "والذى نفس محمد بيده ما أمسى في آل محمد طعام غير شيء ترونه"، فقيل لأبي هريرة: قدركم كانت حين (فرغتم؟) (٢) قال: مثلها (٣) حين وضعت إلا أن فيها أثر الأصابع (٤).
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us one day and said, "Call my companions to me," meaning the Ashab-e-Suffa. I began searching for each person and started waking them up and gathering them together. Then we came to the door of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and sought permission; he granted us permission. Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) says that a bowl was placed before us in which there was food equal to one mudd of barley. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his hand on it and said, "Take it in the name of Allah." We ate as much as we wanted, then we lifted our hands. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, when the bowl was placed, "By Him in whose hand is the life of Muhammad, there is no food for the family of Muhammad except what you see." Hazrat Abu Huraira was asked, "When you finished, how much was left?" He replied, "As much as there was when it was placed, except that there were marks of fingers in it."
