Hadith 33871
٣٣٨٧١ - حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن الشعبي عن جابر قال: توفي أو استشهد عبد اللَّه بن عمرو بن حرام، فاستعنت برسول اللَّه ﷺ على غرمائه أن يضعوا من (دينهم) (١) شيئًا فأبوا، فقال لي رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "اذهب فصنف تمرك أصنافا ثم أعلمني"، قال: ففعلت (فجعلت) (٢) العجوة على حدة وصنفته أصنافًا، ثم أعلمت رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: فجاء فقعد على أعلاه أو في وسطه ثم قال: "كِلْ للقوم"، فكلت لهم حتى وفيتهم و (بقي) (٣) تمري كأنه لم ينقص منه شيء (٤).
Hazrat Jabir narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) bin Haram passed away, or he said that he was martyred. So I sought help from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding his creditors, that they might forgo some of their debt, but they refused. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "Go and make piles of your dates and then inform me." He says, "I did so, and separated the Ajwa dates and made separate piles. Then I informed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." He says, "Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came and sat either at the top or in the middle of the piles, then said, 'Weigh for the people.' I weighed for them until I had given them their full due, and there was no decrease in my dates."
