Hadith 33859
٣٣٨٥٩ - حدثنا عفان قال ثنا حماد بن سلمة عن عاصم عن (زر) (١) عن حذيفة أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ أتي بالبراق -وهو دابة أبيض طويل- يضع حافره عند منتهى طرفه -قال: فلم يزايل ظهره هو وجبريل حتى أتيا بيت المقدس، (وفتحت لهما أبواب السماء، ورأى الجنة والنار، قال حذيفة: لم يصل في بيت المقدس) (٢) (٣).
Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Buraq was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), which is a white, tall animal, and it would place its hoof at the farthest point it could see. The Prophet sat on its back with Jibreel until they reached Bayt al-Maqdis, and the gates of the heavens were opened for him, and he saw Paradise and Hell. Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet did not pray in Bayt al-Maqdis.
