Hadith 33746
٣٣٧٤٦ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا سفيان عن عبد الرحمن بن الأصبهاني عن مجاهد بن وردان عن عروة بن الزبير عن عائشة أن مولى للنبي ﷺ وقع من نخلة فمات، وترك مالا ولم يدع ولدا ولا حميمًا، فقال النبي ﷺ: "أعطوا ميراثه رجلًا من أهل قريته" (١).
Urwah bin Zubair narrates from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a freed slave of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell from a tree and died, and he left behind wealth but no children or friends. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that his inheritance should be given to someone from among the people of his village.
