Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibrahim says regarding the woman who leaves behind her husband, mother, four real sisters, and grandfather, that Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) says about her that the husband will get three shares, the mother one share, the grandfather one share, and the sisters also one share. And Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) say that the wealth should be divided into nine shares: three shares for the husband, one share for the mother, one share for the grandfather, and four shares for the sisters. Hazrat Abu Bakr says that this issue will be resolved into six shares according to the statement of Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him), and into nine shares according to the statement of Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him).
