Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibrahim says that if a woman leaves behind her real sister and her grandfather, then according to the statements of Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), the real sister will receive half of the estate. Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) used to grant one-third of the estate to the sister and two-thirds to the grandfather. Hazrat Abu Bakr says that according to the statements of Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), this issue will be resolved in two shares, and according to the statement of Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him), it will be resolved in three shares.
