٣٣٣٥٥ - وكان زيد يعطي الأم الثلث والأخت ثلث ما بقي قسمها زيد على تسعة أسهم: للأم الثلث ثلاثة أسهم، وللأخت ثلث ما بقي سهمان، وللجد أربعة أسهم، وكان عثمان يجعلها بينهم أثلاثا: للأم الثلث، وللأخت الثلث، وللجد الثلث (١).
33355 - And Zayd used to give the mother one third, and the sister one third of what remained. Zayd divided it into nine shares: for the mother, one third, three shares; for the sister, one third of what remained, two shares; and for the grandfather, four shares. And Uthman used to make it between them in thirds: for the mother, one third; for the sister, one third; and for the grandfather, one third (1).
