Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibrahim, through another chain of narration, reports from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) similar to the previous hadith, and he has added the following: I have received this information from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he considered the grandfather as taking the place of the father, so he would not make the brother an heir in his presence, and he would give the husband half of the wealth, and the grandfather one share, that is, one-sixth of the wealth, and the mother one-third of the wealth, that is, two shares.
