Hadith 33310
٣٣٣١٠ - حدثنا وكيع عن الربيع عن عطاء عن أبي بكر قال: الجد بمنزلة الأب ما لم يكن أب دونه، (وابن) (١) الابن بمنزلة الابن ما لم يكن ابن دونه (٢).
Ata narrates the statement of Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the grandfather is in the position of the father as long as the father is not present beneath him, and the grandson is like the son when the son is not present.
