من كان يعجل العصرThose who used to pray Asr early
Hadith 3331
٣٣٣١ - حدثنا جرير بن عبد الحميد عن منصور عن ربعي بن (حراش) (١) عن أبي الأبيض (عن أنس) (٢) قال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يصلي العصر والشمس بيضاء (محلقة) (٣)، ثم آتي عشيرتي في جانب المدينة لم يصلوا فأقول: (ما يجلسكم؟) (٤) صلوا، فقد صلى رسول اللَّه (٥).
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform the Asr prayer when the sun was still white and clear. Then I would go to my family at the outskirts of Madinah, but they would not have performed the prayer yet. I would say to them, "What has kept you sitting? Perform the prayer, for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has already performed the prayer."
