Hadith 33303
٣٣٣٠٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن ابن جريج عن ابن أبي مليكة قال: قال ابن الزبير: إن الذي قال فيه رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لو كنت متخذا خليلًا لاتخذته خليلًا"، ⦗٢٩٢⦘ جعل الجد أبًا، يعني: أبا بكر (١).
Ibn Abi Mulaykah narrates that Hazrat Ibn Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Indeed, the person about whom the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "If I were to take anyone as a friend, I would certainly take Abu Bakr as a friend," he (Abu Bakr) considered the grandfather to be in the place of the father.
