Hadith 33245
٣٣٢٤٥ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن (حيان) (١) الجعفي عن سويد بن غفلة أن عليًا أتي في ابنة وامرأة و (موالي) (٢)، فأعطى الابنة النصف، والمرأة الثمن، ورد ما بقي على الابنة ولم يعط الموالي شيئًا (٣).
It is narrated from Suwaid bin Ghaflah that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the inheritance of a daughter, a wife, and masters. He gave half of the wealth to the daughter, one-eighth of the wealth to the wife, and returned the remaining wealth to the daughter, and did not give anything to the masters.
