Hadith 33191
٣٣١٩١ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن داود عن الشعبي عن زياد قال: إني لأعلم (ما) (١) صنع عمر، جعل العمة بمنزلة الأب، والخالة بمنزلة الأم (٢).
Ziyad says that indeed I know what action Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) took in this matter; he considered the paternal aunt as equivalent to the father and the maternal aunt as equivalent to the mother.
