Hadith 33146
٣٣١٤٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن مسروق قال: قدم فقال له علقمة: ما كان ابن مسعود (بثبت؟) (١) فقال له مسروق: كلا، ولكن رأيت زيد بن ثابت وأهل المدينة يشركون (٢).
Ibrahim narrates that when Hazrat Masruq came from Madinah Munawwarah, Alqamah said to him, "Was Hazrat Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) not a trustworthy man?" So Hazrat Masruq replied, "Not at all! But I have seen Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) and the people of Madinah that they include both men and women in the inheritance of wealth."
